If your intention is to find a bird to be a mate for your current bird with the hopes that they will soon mate and make babies, please go elsewhere. Our intention is to find each bird a home where they will be loved, spoiled and someones forever best friend. We do not want our birds going to people who intened to breed them, use them as animal food or as an experiment of any kind. All parts of this form must be answered in full and as honestly as possible. We do not hurry when choosing a partner for a bird. We believe that the bird chooses their family and that is the way we do things. Each family who is interested in a bird must submit all information below and submit to a home inspection if requested. A home inspection is only requested if we have doubts about the family wo wants to adopt a bird. Reasons may include but are not limited to:
If you find that you are offended by our adoption process, then I am sorry. We want to be as careful and as protective of the birds and the families they go to as possible. If this offends you and you feel like we are too harsh with our methods, please feel free to check out your local classifieds for a bird. All of our birds come with a clean bill of health from a recommended local avian vet, a brand new cage & stand that suits the bird, a pellet diet along with a list of their favorite human foods, any toys that they came with and their favorite lovie. Adoption fees are kept as minimal as possible, but we try to make sure that we can cover the costs that have gone into the bird to ensure it's health and safety. If we feel a bird is neglected we will go so far as to purchase a bird to get it out of it's current abusive home. Our birds are not DNA sexed by us. It can hinder peoples thoughts when choosing a forever friend. We also try to let each person know as much as possible about each birds likes, dislikes, and personality as possible.
